The
annual online exhibition of the E.I.I.Festival brings
together some of the finest creative talent from around
the world. Timed to coincide with Edinburgh's festival
season in August, the online exhibition has provided a
much needed platform for the visual arts during the

Beltane
- A Celebration: Opening Exhibition of the Edinburgh
International Internet Festival 2006
One of the most spectacular events to be held within the
city and hugely popular with both locals and tourists alike
- Beltane was the first event reviewed by the Internet
Festival back in 1999 and has regularly featured in
E.I.I.Festival photographic exhibitions ever since.
This online celebration of the Beltane Fire Festival
contains re-mastered photographs originally featured in the
Edinburgh International Internet Festival between 1999 and

The Ross Bandstand:- Despite years of neglect the Ross
Bandstand has always been a popular venue for both Edinburgh
folk and the many visitors to the city. With plans now afoot
to replace the structure with something more versatile and
able to cater for the expanding range of events hosted
within the Gardens -, the E.I.I.Festival 2006 is presenting
a series of online photographic exhibitions taking a fond
look back at some of the events we have covered based at the

of Edinburgh: Digital Photo Exhibition
From daily life in Edinburgh to sporting and news events,
community based activities and the landscape of the city
itself... A Snapography of Edinburgh is a new annual online
exhibition intended to provide
a visual record of the many aspects of life within the city
from Spring through to Winter.
Participation is free and open to all Edinburgh's residents

'U-Boat Fleet Surrenders' PWG Photographic Exhibition |

ACE IT People's War Group present a special online
photographic exhibition to mark the anniversary of the
Surrender of the German U-Boat Fleet at Lisahally in
Northern Ireland at the end of WW2.
The original images:- provided by a member
of the PWG who witnessed the event, have been digitally
restored by ACE IT and are believed to be available for the
first time on the web:
