Over the summer of 2009 - The GD intends to host a
short series of live music sessions across a number of
venues within the Gorgie Dalry area. These events will be
recorded for inclusion on the GD website as a series of
web-videos and audio podcasts.
The aims of the GD sessions are to provide support and
promotion for the creative community of Gorgie Dalry and
also to encourage the hosting of live music and artistic
events within the area.
Video and audio produced for the GD will
not be used on any other website or in any other format
without the participant's express permission. All material
recorded during the sessions will be freely turned over to
the participant for their own future use and promotion
In addition to the live music sessions – musicians and
bands from the westward side of Edinburgh are also invited
to promote their work via the GD Creatives section - where
they can manage their own profiles and share their
