new immersive venue showcasing vibrant productions
of new writing and classics. Meet our characters and
discover secret shows, experience beauty and
decadence.
The Red Room is a theatrical space in the style
of Victorian burlesque at the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe
Festival. The venue is intended to facilitate a
number of productions and events staged in the
immersive style of Belt Up (Nothing to See/Hear).
Audiences will enter an underground world of bohemia
that evokes a sense of faded decadence whilst
maintaining an air of mystery where dreams and
nightmares intertwine.
Our repertoire offers a concoction of comedy,
tragedy, dance, mime, sensory, physical and masked
works. The Red Room will offer at least seven shows
and events every day.
