Community Campaigns
There are a number of outstanding community campaigns and initiatives hosted by Edinburgh Council, which would greatly benefit from the online promotion and digital services provided by UC-Edinburgh.
  • Example: The Canal Redevelopment Project
Working directly with the new officer appointed by the Council UC-Edinburgh could provide a news information and advice platform for canal project. In addition local residents would be able to participate in the development via art and photography exhibitions and a special poetry section. Local residents could also become involved by including interactive content such as strictly moderated online debates.

  • UC–Edinburgh's Adult Education In Action
Residents of Edinburgh are able to access an excellent and diverse range of adult education courses, workshops and creative resources. UC-Edinburgh would offer a unique platform able to showcase and celebrate the outstanding creative output of Edinburgh's adult education services in action.
